Established in 2000 as the sole authorised distributor on American Directional Drill® in the UK. TA Drilling has set up the facilities to cope within such a demanding industry. From its head office in East Sussex to it’s service and training centre in Derbyshire and its regional offices in South Yorkshire, South Wales and East Anglia.

During 2000 T.A. Drilling were awarded the sole dealership with Melfred Borzall and additional dealerships with Digitrak ,Railhead and Baroid

After its purchase of American Augers in 2002 Astec Industries, Inc. formed an alliance with Case® to manufacture its utility line of trenchers under the Astec Underground name at a purpose built state of the art manufacturing facility in Tennessee. TA.Drilling are the sole authorised distributor of Astec Underground equipment within the UK, and are able to provide and maintain anything from the small Case/Astec RT60 Pedestrian Trencher or DD1 Directional Drill to the Trencor Surface Miner or Million Eighty Directional Drill. To compliment the range of equipment TA.Drilling are also able to offer the “Earth Pro” Pneumatic Moles and Pipe Bursting Equipment through Astec Underground.

In Early 2004 Through their association with Astec Industries Inc TA Drilling became the sole authorised distributor of Roadtec Equipment which includes the unique ‘Shuttle Buggies’ ,Road Planing Equipment and Pavers within the UK and Ireland providing both sales and maintenance for this equipment

It was also around this time that TA Drilling moved into the rotary bored and driven pilling market covering the UK and Ireland. TA Drilling appointed Jon Walter as sales manager covering these territories and European markets. TA Drilling are now the authorised distributor of Watson Piling Rigs (USA), Tescar (Italy) , Interoc. (Germany) & Ferro Konstrukt (Austria). TA Drilling can supply and support all the existing customers and equipment in the field both for sales and service and having already established a working relationship with Bariod (Drilling fluids) we can now offer our customers a total service for their Piling requirements.

In March 2007 TA Drilling acquired Essig Products Ltd, incorporating the Essig Pneumatic mole into the product line. TA Drilling have now set up a specialist Mole Service center in Barnsley, South Yorkshire and are fully equipped to undertake repairs and servicing to any make of Mole.
